In this project, the GrupIdea strategy and design team carried out the new conceptualization and design of new corporate offices. New tools and work methodologies, such as Design Thinking and Agile Methodology, raise the need for new spaces. The key to the Digital Lab is connectivity and versatility of both physical and virtual spaces, that is, remote.
The Digital Lab has common and private work areas such as the welcome area, two meeting rooms for temporary work, a permanent work area and a coworking area. The coworking area incorporates the ‘capsule’, a hermetically sealed space designed for video conferences and short meetings, and ‘the corner’ with whiteboards and dynamic furniture to facilitate collaborative work between teams.
A grandstand/stair area connects the welcome area with the “Innovation Lounge”, located on a second floor. This second area includes the innovation lounge and showroom, conceived as spaces to interact and share ideas. The third area is made up of common services such as bathrooms and emergency exits.
As for the selection of materials, for the interior design, a fusion of warm materials such as wood and other more industrial ones such as cellular polycarbonate is proposed for the finishes.
