Mechelen, Belgium. Co-founder and Managing partner of DIFFERENT by design since 2002, an interior architecture firm that specializes in retail design. Ilse has a broad experience working as a local architect & brand project manager for several international fashion brands in Europe as well as in the Middle East. She is a lecturer to Master students on the principles of Retail Concepts at Hasselt University in Belgium. She has a Postgraduate Degree in Facility Management by Kaho Sint-Lieven in Gent as well as a Master’s in Interior Architecture by Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst in Brussels. Her passion is designing retail spaces as a multi sensorial experience to create connecting customer journeys: translating the brand identity into a 3D reality. She is currently an international partner at Grup Idea.
