In this new project, the Strategy and Design team at Grup Idea developed a new conceptualization of an existing hotel. The main objective was to transform and modernise an ancient holiday hotel located in Costa Brava (Spain) and built in the 80s.
From a previous analysis, a new Look & Feel of the common spaces and the rooms was defined. In this new design, the client / user is at the center of the experience.
Thus, spaces were reformulated to adapt to the offer related to new uses, based on well-being, relaxation and sport. Other spaces such as the outdoor pool were also redefined and a multipurpose lobby was proposed: workspace, rest area, restaurant area and a store inside the lobby. Topics such as biophilia, energy efficiency and the restoration of Km 0 are other of the lines of work that were developed for the new offer.
